How Does it Glow?
Mt. MonkeyBusines’ safe, cool, and convincing flame flicker is achieved using a cluster of LED lights powered by three AAA batteries housed in the mug’s lower chamber. A small toggle switch allows the drinker to activate (or stop) the eruption’s glow. Everything is housed in a compact plastic case (the TikiFire Mark 3). The LEDs will last for many years, and the three batteries will give you many hours of fiery fun. VanTiki would like to thank Spookyblue and Nephilim for sharing their LED flicker ideas.
The Mt. MonkeyBusiness illuminated dual-chamber Tiki Mug is a stately 7 and 1/2 inches high and weighs 4 pounds 7 ounces. It is entirely hand-crafted out of glazed high-fire ceramics and includes a custom LED electronics and a mylar diffuser that fits in the lower chamber.
