Ahh my friend, I see your eyes are drawn to the jewel of our Cabinet of Curiosities: The Pickled Warrior.  The natives of VanTiki Island tuned this severed head of an ancient warrior into a fine drinking vessel via their secret pickling process.  Oh - don’t look so squeamish!  The pickled warrior will hold enough rum and nectar for you and a fiend to share.

What is a Pickled Head?

Pickled Heads are only found deep in the jungles of VanTiki Island.  They are painstakingly aged by the VanTiki natives within great palm-trunk barrels in a secret mixture of vital fluids and rare herbs.   Often confused with “Shrunken Heads”, Pickled heads involve less shrinking/stitching and more sitting around in a vat till you end up with a spiffy vessel that not only holds your Mai Tai but reminds you of that foe you vanquished at the last tribal battle.  Yum yum!

The Pickled Warrior Tiki Mug is a stately 5 inches tall and weighs 3 pounds 7 ounces.  It is entirely hand-crafted out of glazed high-fire ceramics. This is a one-of-a-kind sculpture, never to be repeated. Signed and dated by the artist.

On the Hunt: Mr. Bali Hai shares big game secrets with the Pickled Warrior.

Legend has it that if you fill the Pickled Warrior with rum and drink it all down at midnight by the light of a full moon, his wizened eyes will open and he will truthfully answer any question you ask.  Sadly all attempts to prove this have ended up with terrible headaches the following morning and muddled memories.
